I have just installed Kanotix 2005-04 from a live cd but I cannot connect to the internet.
I tried to use apt-get and a message said "invalid operation".
I use broadband to connect to the internet.

When I looked in the Control Center under Network it has 2 ip addresses and neither one is the one that Windows uses to connect to the internet.
Should I delete these two addresses or is there some other way to set up the internet connection?

The usual way is just to execute

netcardconfig

once and select DHCP. Btw. Easter RC4 is much newer...
