Post subject: Printer problem: no text, only images

Hallo, dear Kanotix-community
My printer prints only images or image "contents" of html-files or printer testpages resp. in best quality but no text (fonts).
Printer: DeskJet 970 Cxi, usb port
tested (no success):
Kanotix-2006-easter-Live-CD with "old" cups, hpijs
Kanotix-2006-easter-Live-CD with "newest" cups
with hpijs as well the newest Turboprint driver
Can you help me?

I remember i had the same type of issue a long time ago and it was due to my checking of boxes. I am pretty sure that its in the way that some property and options boxes are checked for the printer.
