I don't believe it, I highly doubt the new os will be what they say it will be.

It's still a microsoft product and we all know how safe those are. I seriously doubt Vista will end up being much safer than XP.

Monocultures are always evil, so if ~90% of all users will run the very same anti virus engine, virus writers will have a much easier task to fool the detection mechanisms.
