Titel: splashy error

i am running an HD install of 2006-01-RC4, and initially, splashy worked very well. however, after a dist-upgrade, splashy fails to start on boot showing the error
Code:
Framebuffer device unwrittable (/dev/fb0)
i tried disabling and re-enabling it with h2's script, as well as removing/purging and reinstalling splashy but still no luck. any ideas? |

This is not a problem of splashy but a problem of /dev/fb0 (Framebuffer device, which X is usjng). Try to purge and reinstall the framebuffer package! but be careful, other thing which use framebuffer, like amarok are also deleted and have to be reinstalled again.

apt-get remove --pruge libdirectfb-0.9-25
apt-get install libdirectfb-0.9-25
