Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061024 Iceweasel/2.0 (Debian-2.0+dfsg-1)

Doing a dist-upgrade pulls it in.

Some people have said Y others N, it seems to work fine either way. Although I said N and I had to fix the plugins.

Others have had to set the Java path, I just copied the plugins from /usr/lib/mozilla to /usr/lib/iceweasel.

Long live Iceweasel. One of the good things about the name change is that Debian now gets money from people doing Google searches rather than Mozilla.

Oh yeah if you get gpg key error do:
gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv-keys 6070D3A1 && apt-key add /root/.gnupg/pubring.gpg
thanks zulu9 for the gpg key fix

and that gpg error fix is in du-fixes now too, runs before apt-get update now, thanks zulu9

Wow..This makes me think I am finally getting it. I had to do both the plugin fix (I picked N also) & the gpg key fix and I actually figured them out for once before reading it here....... except I did it a little different.... I copied my symlinks for the plugins from my /usr/lib/firefox/plugins to my /usr/lib/iceweasel/plugins and I used this to fix the key error (as root):

gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net --recv 6070D3A1

gpg --armor --export 6070D3A1 | apt-key add -

Does anyone here see any problem in how I did this, or should I go back and do it as craigevil posted?

Does anybody know where to set DPI. Just cannot find it and the letters are very small.

I just said yes ( not the default no) to the three questions about retaining existing Firefox config files and Iceweasel works fine all my bookmarks and single add-on Adblock plus all work. I have also just noticed I now have a spell checker on this forum.

Hello!

I had to apply the DPI hack mentioned by kstevek to solve the font size problem in IceWeasel:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Layout.css.dpi
http://www.mozilla.org/unix/dpi.html

Best regards, Roman

Is there a new icon, one with a weasel and a globe, perhaps? One didn't show up to replace the firefox icon in my panel.

Thanks. I'll pick one up. Does this mean that debian hasn't decided on one?
