          Hi:

How do I reduce the size of the fonts as they are very large.

Thanks,

AJ |

First of all check if you use the correct screen res. So show output of

infobash -v

(do NOT call this as root!) |

What is the native resulution of your monitor?

You can adjust it with:

fix-res 1280x1024

as root for exemple and restart xserver with CTRL+ALT+Backspace.

Also you can fix the dpi with

fix-dpi-kdm 96

change the 96 with the value what is better for the monitor, look here for enlightenment:

Do _not_ use the fix-dpi-kdm option, because merlin's example will make em even larger. First geht Thorhammer RC7, but if you don't want just do

update-scripts-kanotix.sh

install-nvidia-debian.sh -ar

in vt1 (ctrl-alt-f1) after root login. That will autodetect those values for most TFT. |
