Lenovo B50-45.

The brightness keys work only in Xfce. (rather good for a Debian based distro btw).

Could anything be done to make the fn keys work in LXDE?

Does this have anything to do with the display driver? Is there any point in installing Catalyst? (AMD card running radeon).

this worked:

xrandr -q | grep " connected"

which shows eDP

xrandr --output eDP --brightness 0.5

(scale of 0 to 10)

I use this in Windowmaker
