| Hi I have a compaq c770 laptop that I bought just for Linux. Everything installed fine but the wlan (atheros chip). I found the drivers for vista and xp. I tried to install both of them with ndiswrapper. It said that it was mounted but no new hardware was found. I also tried to use ndiswrapper in shell but it didn't work. Where do you think I can go from here? Thanks. |

can you put the output from lspci here
i think you dont need ndiswrapper evtl. a kernel-upgrade is needet but first show us what chip is includet |

| Come to kanotix irc-chat and ask Kano if he is in. This chip should run with madwifi. You must evtl. blacklisting another driver. |
